Spring Into Action!
It is time to think of tulips and Elections. The Carleton Mississippi Mills Liberal Women’s Association, the Kanata-Carleton Liberal Seniors’ Association and the Kanata Carleton provincial Liberal Association have joined forces to bring you a workshop that answers basic questions like, “How do I become a candidate”, “What does the Riding Association do in getting ready, during and after an election” or “How do I become a member of a Campaign Team”, or “What happens inside the campaign during an election.”
The workshop features two well-seasoned Liberal political gurus speakers, Marianne Wilkinson and Patricia Pepper. There will be break-out sessions so you can in a small group ask question and share your ideas about the up-coming election. Each break-out session will have a group leader to present information of what’s new, what has worked in the past and what the future holds for elections.

7:00 – 9:30 p.m.
821 March Road, Kanata
Old Kanata Town Hall
We have planned this event to be about team building and setting the ground work for the 2018 Provincial Election. Our workshop leaders will share the inside scoop on what is happening on the political front as well as in the Riding and our sister ridings.
Please bring a friend with you who you think might want to be a candidate or work on the campaign or just has an interest in what and how campaigns are run.
The event is free. There will be coffee and a wee treat, plenty of time to talk and share your ideas as well as listen to the experts tells about all things Election.
We are very excited about hosting this joint event. It sets the tone clearly that in our Riding everyone works together. We believe working together is the correct approach to success at the polls.
So join us, have a coffee, let’s share our ideas and with a strong base we can forge a victory at the next election. It will be a pleasant evening with friends and fellow Campaign workers.
